Privacy Policy

7MIN ("we") runs the website 7min.online and the 7MIN apps for iPhone and Android. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. We do not sell your data, show ads, or track you across other apps or websites.
What we collect
- Account details: your name and email address. If you set a password, we store only a one-way hash of it.
- Quick sign-in: if you continue with Google, Apple, Facebook or X, we receive your account identifier with that provider and, where the provider shares them, your name, email address and profile picture. We never receive your password for those services and never post on your behalf.
- Preferences: the goals you pick, your daily delivery time, your preferred channel and, only if you choose WhatsApp, your phone number.
- Learning activity: which ideas you open, read or listen to, your answers to the daily "did you apply it?" question, saved ideas, review results and streaks.
How we use it
- To run your account and pick today's idea for your goals.
- To schedule your reviews after 7 and 30 days and show your progress.
- To understand, in aggregate, which ideas are useful so we can improve the content.
Notifications
In the iPhone and Android apps, the daily reminder is scheduled on your device at the time you choose. You can turn it off at any time in your phone's settings.
Service providers
- Hosting: our servers are operated by Hetzner in the European Union.
- Narration: the text of each idea (never any information about you) is sent to ElevenLabs or Google Gemini to generate its audio.
- Sign-in providers: Google, Apple, Facebook and X, only if you choose to use them.
- Fonts: the website loads fonts from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address as part of that request.
Cookies
We use one essential cookie to keep you signed in, and a short-lived cookie while quick sign-in is in progress. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies.
Security and retention
All traffic is encrypted with HTTPS, passwords are hashed, and service keys are stored encrypted. We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete your account, your profile, progress and linked sign-in accounts are deleted immediately. Anonymous usage records that can no longer be linked to you may be kept to measure how the service is used.
Deleting your data
You can permanently delete your account and data at any time: open Progress → Account → Delete account (in the app or on the website). You can also email admin@7min.online from the address on your account and we will delete it within 30 days. Removing 7MIN from your Google, Apple, Facebook or X settings stops quick sign-in but does not delete your 7MIN account.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, or to delete it by emailing admin@7min.online.
Children
7MIN is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date above and, for significant changes, let you know in the app.
